PW is BACK in Buffalo this fall!

Two four hour tours, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, limited to 30 participants each. Participants will be broken into smaller groups.

Tripods are welcome but not required.

tickets are $125 per person, pre-sale access for Gold members Monday night, Silver members Tuesday night, general admission Wednesday morning until tickets sell out.

Happy birthday, Dr. Thomas Story Kirkbride! (BTD in 1809)

Kirkbride Plan hospitals manifested a generous – if utopian – confidence in the power of architecture and landscape design to repair mental wellbeing. Embodying Enlightenment Quaker beliefs in the therapeutic powers of architecture, beauty, nature, and respectful care, these remarkable and complex structures were conceived as self-sustaining havens, offering dignified places for the placeless.
