Welcome to PreservationWorks. We are a national 501(c)3 non profit organization, advocating for the preservation and adaptive reuse of Kirkbride Asylums. We support local, grassroots efforts as well as provide education on the history of these unique buildings and how they affected their local communities, their patients, architecture, and the state of mental healthcare.
